I know many need these oval door plugs and a couple of guys have discussed having them made. I have had these plugs in my desk for many years and never tried them. Ironically, I found them in my wife's 2005 Toyota Sienna Van while cleaning it one day. I thought they looked close to the oval openings in my 66 LV. Turns out they are very close. See pics. So, if nothing else they would work. The plug is a tiny bit smaller, so you could open the hole up a bit to take some pressure off or live with them as is w slight pucker. They also can be inserted two ways. The most flush way looks to be the back side of the plug with the part numbers exposed and not as finished, but again, better than a hole.
