If you convince my wife to move I'll be there in a heartbeat. The last time I took her to Iowa was a few Thanksgivings ago. We flew out of Fresno and it was 72 degrees. We landed in Cedar rapis and it was 14 degrees with about a 10 below wind chill.

She only read about temp that low in books. Before the week was over she was Ice fishing.

We first came down to KS in December. We left sub 0 temps back in ND, when we got to t-town it was 45. She was in love, that was one of the things that sealed the deal. Not one person mentioned to us the 90+ temps and humidity you get in the summer (keep in mind we were used to 70 degree days in summer). ND winters aren't looking so bad now...:flipoff2:

I miss ice fishing too, a five gallon bucket to sit on, ice auger, and a bottle of blackberry brandy.....

Mark.. The width of mounting points on the rear of an older Fj is different than the newer ones. Just an fyi if your planning on making a bumper to fit the spots where the bumperettes used to be etc. I'm still on the fence as to what I want to do with mine.. Probably not gonna do anything to the back regarding aftermarket.
And Send me your list of what you wanna do. I've been cleaning the garage and found a bunch of stuff your gonna need! :)
Like. There were 2 front axles in there.. at least one set of disk brakes.. 4 transmissions, at least 4 tcases..

Yes I remember the spear.. Was wondering if you did! :)
get me your list as I need a bunch of stuff gone in the shop soon to make room to work.

damn erik you must have one heck of a garage...worked on the list again last night...probably have it done today...i have to figure out attachment points for the bumper...i will do a "shop drawing" and send it to jim prior to his fab work begining...
