I was going to research all the tire choices since my Nitto Terra Grapler G2's XL are getting old. They have a 2011 build date but still look good. I bought the 200 used last May. I have three big trips this summer and will put 7k miles on them so I wanted some new tires. I feel safer traveling with the family with new rubber. My choice came down to price. I was looking for p metric tires in the stock size. Walmart had the G2's for $215, Toyo Open Country AT's for $189, and Yoko Geolandars G015 AT for $138. I heard good things about all three tires. I will post a picture of the Yoko's once they get installed.

It looks like there is a $60 rebate so $123 per tire plus tax after rebate.

So I just took a look at WM and tried to order the 5 remaining 275/65/20 yoko's in a e rated. They are stuck in my cart with an issue, I called DT and they are going to price match me at $176 a tire.

Walmart has some crazy good prices for some reason. I know some people bought 265/65/17 general grabbers for $35 each. They are clearancing some tires. I got some 265/65/17 Kuhmo Crugen for $122 for our GX470.

That is $100 per tire less than tire rack online. Good deal to save $500 on some tires.

That is why I jumped on them while the iron was hot.

Yokohama G015 ATs for $138 each?

Where? I'm getting some of those.

I loved the Yoko ATs.

Walmart.com just type in G015 285/60/18 in the search. They are $138 with free shipping. They also have 285/65/17's Geolandars at-s if anybody needs that size for $79.

I am ordering the 17s! Holy crap that's cheap!

*edit - never mind. The 17s only have 3 left, and the ATS are discontinued so its impossible to find an extra tire.

Finally got the Geolandars installed. They are pretty quiet but haven't put too many miles on them. Not as aggressive looking as the Nitto G2 since the edges aren't square but rather angled.
