Looking for opinions on a 2013 LX570 I’m considering. 175k miles, 1-owner for $27,000. Very clean inside and out (California owned).

Maintenance history is and entirely through Lexus dealers except for a gap from 135k miles to 175k (back at Lexus right before sale). Notable items:
  • Oil changes every 5k
  • Radiator replaced at ~116k due to coolant leak
  • Spark plugs replaced at ~116k
  • Brake fluid service performed
  • Battery replaced around 100k
  • Tailgate motor replaced
  • Tailgate lock actuator replaced
  • Both rear AHC shocks replaced at 175k
  • AHC fluid/service performed during rear shock replacement
  • Power steering fluid exchange performed at 175k
Unknowns:
  • No documented transmission fluid service
  • No documented transfer case or diff fluid service
  • No documented water pump replacement
  • No documented AHC accumulator (“globe”) replacement

My intended use would be daily driver for my wife and kids around town, and camping trips towing a 3000lb trailer.

What is a fair price? 27 seems a bit high. Does my use case seem OK for the mileage?

To be clear, from 135k to 175k there are no maintenance records. I assume previous owner started using an independent shop during that time.

Assuming no rust, and you like the color, and the interior is not trashed, that sounds like a good deal to me. I think the maintenance records reflect a well taken care of rig. I'd like to see trans fluid flush, but I'd still buy it if that's your budget and it's what you want. Good luck with the purchase!

Maybe negotiate the services you want into the purchase? Tell them you’ll pay the asking price, if they will …………before you pick it up?

Edit: I thought it was at a Lexus dealer but I see it’s third party. That likely means no service negotiations and makes a PPI really important.

Sounds like a good starting point in terms of overall cosmetic condition of the vehicle, but the lack of fluid service is a bit concerning. Is it being sold by Lexus or third party? Any warranty provided? The price is a bit high, I think this should be closer to $23-24k with those higher miles.

It’s being sold by a third party, no warranty.

Of course, the fluids may have been changed during the gap in the docs, but w/o proof I’m treating it as never done.

I think the fluid situation is common for trucks not owned by people on MUD. FWIW, fluid changes have always been a let-down in how fresh they've looked in some high-mileage changes in past trucks. I just did a full ATF exchange on my '18 - not difficult and easy to work in with the diffs and DS greasing. I'm saying it sounds like it is nice rig.
