Really like the looks of the BFG AT's but have read a lot of posts saying their not that great in the mud,.

I love my BFG ATs, but I've always considered them one of the more bland, ugly AT tires. And they SUCK in mud.

Being as our 80 is the primary family hauler, I am very happy having put nearly 60K miles on them with plenty of tread to go.

If I wanted looks, I'd go with Nitto, Mickey Thompson, Dick Cepek, Procomp, Parnelli Jones etc.

Okay, I guess it wasn't you I saw then.

What are your thoughts on Marshall Toyota? I noticed that Toyota of Longview is really starting to mention they are better than Marshall in their ads. Marshall must be hitting them pretty hard.:whoops:

as of right now i drive a dark silver mini cooper s with wheels and lowered and exhaust.yhe fj will be voodoo blue with 3in revtech and wrangler mtrs

Does that mean your Mini Cooper is lowered? I don't know a lot about them, but they do seem pretty low to begin with. They are neat little cars, though.

I had the Revos ATs on my Land Rover and they did pretty well in the mud.

My 2 cents.

I have no first hand experience with the Revo's. However, I would have a very hard time believing that they are any better than the BFG AT in the mud. They're both A/Ts. How good either is "in the mud" is relative and they're all going to suck compared to a mud tire. If mud is a concern than buy a mud tire.

sweet I traded in an Corolla XRS(2zz-ge) Blown, Injen CAI, Smaller atl pulley, Full custom I/H/E work. Tein S lowering springs. Engine mounts, rear and front strut bars. I must say it was a sleeper with those 216whp ... Plenty of civics, integras, preludes, celicas, nissan's SE-R, Lancer MRs, and I have pretty even with the 350z and S2000s, though past the 100mph range I get killed.

I've got Revo's on my work car (02 Durango) and they work better than my BFG's in the snow and ice. I was really impressed this past winter. I've only had them in moderate mud once and they seemed adequate, but I would agree with the statement that if you drive in the mud, get a mud tire. Around here we don't get mud, just sand, rocks, snow, and ice.

Thats awesome im only old enough to have owned two cars but my other car was a 93 civic hatch. jdm b18c(heavily moded, not boosted, N/A is the only way), jdm everything i could find, red recaros from jdm itr, bronze gram lights. cf hood and duckbill. never got a chance to run at the track but everyone told me it should run low 13s. i loved the car and recently got rearended and totaled in panama city beach on spring break. R.I.P 93 EG

b18 engines are freaking awesome I like them even more than the K20. I ran 13.4 with toyo proxes 4 and 12.8 with slicks up front and a limited slip

2zz-ge, eh? I had one of those! Okay, so it really wasn't a standout like a Celica or a Corolla, but I think it cleaned up nice. Chicks seemed to dig it (until they tried getting in or out of it with the top on):

I have also been with friends that have had a blow out with the BFG A/T's luckly it was coverd under the tire warrenty, but over the years i've had some pretty hurtin no name crap tires and never had any blow outs. Something is wrong there.
