The President of CLC has provided written notice to the Board Of Directors (BOD) that he will no longer be able to perform the duties of President.
In the club Bylaws under Article IV para. B states:
"In the event the President is unable to perform the assigned duties, the Vice-President shall
assume the duties of the President for the remainder of the term and the BOD shall
appoint a member of the Club to fill the office of the Vice-President until the next Annual
election."
With the above in mind the Board will now entertain nominations for a new Vice President of the Club. Self nominations are encouraged. Formal nominations do require the nominee to verify the ability to perform the duties of the Vice President. Nominations can be forwarded by Instant Messenger, email or text to any BOD member or in person at a meeting. The Board will notify the membership when the position is filled.
