Oops, what have I done :(

Removed my shifter and the rubber gasket that has 6 metal spacers/ washers two are missing and presumed dropped into the tranny shifter hole. I actually put a small magnet down there and fished out 1 but 2 are still missing. There is no drain plug below the shifter so if I drain tranny oil will it drop the level there enough to see if the other two are in there? I got a new rubber seal with the spacers but dont want to install it if I have two metal spacers down there.... ugh, what to do

ouch might have to take the tranny hump out and get the top off the tranny to be able to see good luck to you thats the same kinda stuff that happens to me so least your not the only one

No tranny Hump on an 884Runner to remove, the "cover" the stick shift is already removed....ugh!

I bought the endoscope thing for my phone, camera, led light, magnet...I fished and fished for over a half hour and found nothing. There was still some oil in there and the camera became useless in it. I finally just gave up, put it all back to get her and tested it....all good so far after 100 miles, no noise, nothing...
