I can't find it now but someone here posted a pic of a single bike one-up rack folded up and it looked like the rear hatch could be opened. Is that right and which of their racks? Does it interfere with the parking sensors? My two bike Thule sticks out way too far and has to be folded down in order to open the hatch.

Now that I moved I no longer have a trail system just up the road and have to haul the bike a short ways to the trailheads. There's way more trails here and way fewer riders so it's a win over all.

I have the double, and the back can't be opened when it's folded up. I used to own the single, and from memory, it wouldn't work either.

How about that, it does look like it fits when it’s all the way up, but I can see it’s not in the locked position. It’s past the “up” locking position so it may move when jolted.

I think later in the thread tucsonlx said it stays put for them. But if it does flop out it will just latch in the normal upright position. I'd be more concerned that it hits the body work somewhere and rubs the paint but it looks like it doesn't. If it is a problem I can always make additional locking slots. I ordered a heavy duty.
