yeah im going to force my boss to hire someone else. ether he does or he runns the store by himself that sunday.

Hey Guys,

The only thing that I have ready to go (or currently operable) is a stock YJ. Will I be able to nagotiate most of the trails we will be going on.....or at least go around the obstacles.

My other rig is a fullsize and it is out of commision right now.

Never been to DNF before. I definately don't want to be a "stick" in the mud on our first meeting.

Any input???

Also, I plan to trailer my Jeep down. Will there be a place that I can park and off-load without leaving my truck in anyone's way?

Thanks,
beevo

yeah youl have no problem as long as you have a little more than street tires like some allterrains. res lets use park in his front yard to unload and leave our tow rigs. dad said we can meet you in pucket. there is a napa/gas station at the first stop sign there. we will meet you there. sound good.

Running some BFG T/A tires presently. Gonna try to come up with something more aggresive before the 17th. I do not have a CB in the Jeep, but I plan on picking up one @ Wally World before the ride.

Meeting in Puckett would be great. What time do you think we would need to meet to be ready to ride by 9?

Do you know if Brian (Clutchee) is gonna try to go. I'll probably see him tommorrow and I will inquire.

Shoot me an e-mail or PM with your contact info and name sometime this week so we can speak.

Thanks,
beevo

Still planning to make it guys. Won't know for sure until @least the middle of the week. Got your number Josh.....thanks. I will let you know either way by Wed./Thurs. so that we can make arrangements to meet.

Res.....
Prefer to trailer in case of breakage. It is stock, but $h!t happens:). It would be a long, limping ride back to Morton from Laurel without a tow rig.

I'll let you all know ASAP.

Thanks,
beevo

That's cool, Thanks for the thought anyway.
Funny you should say that. Reminds me of when a buddy sold a 1984 Chevy Military CUCV 1008 1 1/4 ton truck that he got from me to a guy from Colorado on ebay a couple of years ago. The guy drove all the way from Colorado in a Jeep Cherokee with a 16' tandon axle trailer. The GVW on the CUCV is around 6800 lbs. Needless to say the guy had to load his Jeep on the trailer and hook his trailer to the CUCV. And if that's not enough........for those who don't know about the CUCV.....265/75/16 tires with 4.56:1 gearing and a Detroit in the rear with a 6.2 natural asperated diesel.......screams @ 50-55 MPH. Never heard from the guy again......he may still be enroute back home for all we know.

Hey Guys,

Regretfully, something has come up and I'm not gonna be able to make it on Sunday. I was really looking forward to meeting you all and doing some wheeling. Hopefully, I will see you at Grey Rock and make some rides at DNF in the future.

White4x4, I have your number if things change in the next day or so.
