I don't see why it cant be done with a little bit of trial and error since you already have motors for auto leveling.

Hi guys,

Doing my upgrade to 2013 Headlights from my 2008. I already got the ff working:

Ordered new sockets as I did not want to splice.

90980-10942 - Headliight (4 terminals)
90980-10897- Headliight (6 terminals)
82824-60430 - Fog Lamps

1) Park light to DRL = OK
2) Low Beam = OK
3) High Beam = OK

Can seem to find out where these wires should connect to?

1) What's the GREEN small wire for? It goes into the housing and to the bottom of the HID then to the socket below.

2) RED wire goes to the DRL (LED) and to the socket below.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Did you ever get these installed and working?

Bought a pair of used 2012-2013 HID AFS headlight off ebay and a couple of D2s CBI xenarc bulbs and ballasts. Install took about 2 hours. Rewiring was a breeze. I was shocked. After months of checking this board I didnt get any decent info of how hard it would be to adapt the wiring harness. It was a piece of cake. 10 minutes tops per side. You just have to remove the old harness, remove the new one entirely and splice the old one according to what wire went where....It was simple. The headlight adjustment even works!!! The only mod I had to do was adapt the D2S bulb to the D4S housing. (2 minutes with a soldering iron to melt a small notch in the plastic.) The lighting is beautiful and a huge improvement over the DIY projectors I had before. Now I just have to figure out how to manually adjust the lights up a bit because they are a little low. (my lift probably put the factory level outta whack.) One thing to nit pick: the stock leds could be a bit brighter and bluer to match the color of the light bar and xenon bulbs.
I highly recommend this mod.

Hello there,

I understand you did this donkeys years ago, but I am trying it now and I was wondering if you still remember some details about it.

1. Did you buy the European or US version of the headlights ? I am asking as the EU is a bi-xenon and the wiring may be different, and affect the height adjustment.
2. Do you remember how you wired up the height control ? I read another thread where the author stated that the two motors (halogen and HID headlight type) are not compatible.
3. Do you remember how you wired up the DRLs ? I understand they should be wired to different pins to obtain more or less light depending if they perform as DRLs or parking lights.

Sorry for the hassle, and most grateful for any answers you may be able to give me.
