Well good Ol' Uncle Sam decided I lived in Virginia long enough (thank God). My new duty station is Edwards AFB. I am looking forward to the move. As of right now I am looking to live in Rosamond.

I just wanted to say hello to everyone. Currently I am on the road.

Welcome to the area. You'll notice quite a climate change from VA to Rosamond! You'll also be near some decent 4-wheeling.

I have been on base about 3 days now. I just bought a house in Rosamond. I have enough room in the back yard for plenty of things. I can even get my trailer back there and lock it behind the gate! Not much here in Rosamond, but I am finding the drive into Lancaster not all that bad. Hopefully the house won't eat all my $$$ for wheeling, etc, but it looks like it will for a while. I need avery appliance in the house except for a clothes washer. I am currently looking everywhere for decent used appliances. Any places in Lancaster/Palmdale I should look at for used stuff?


So far it seems like I will like it here, but I am sure after some time the new will wear off.
