Looking to get back in the game. I find myself without a project. Looking for a 78-83. Something with decent bones. I don't mind welding in some panels or anything... I just set my mig up for .024 and I'm bored. Would have no issues pulling the motor and rebuilding. I think whatever I find first between a mini truck and a 55 will be the winner. I am more comfortable with the mini trucks because I know my way around the 22R a bit better, but I have such a love for pigs. The truck market seems to have a bit more availability. I'm in the Norther VA area, so if anyone spots a good buy on something that needs a little rebuilding let me know!

Still looking. Chased a few leads on FB. Lost one because a local beat me to it. I would have had to ship. Saw an 84 4Runner but it disappeared. It’s rough out here on the east coast. Shipping smashes the budget.

I used to tell people from the rust belt to take some vacation time in the desert Southwest and drive or trailer a rust free truck back. Not anymore. For years caravans of vintage Toyota trucks got hauled south of the border. Slim pickins here now compared to what it used to be.

I have combed FB... One good 83 got away... currently looking at a pickup and 4runner .... The pickup doesn't have AC which will be PITA to find parts for and swap in... The runner is cool... I've had one... but this one has a SFA... mine was an 86
