? on factory tachometer

Does anyone know if factory tachs came with only a certain package (SR5, etc.) or with specific engines in '94?
Or was it just a random placement thing?

mostly sr5 trucks got full gauges. most if not all 4runners got them. some get the speedo signal from a cable, some are electronic. you can swap the basic one for the sr5, you just need to see if you have a speedo cable or not so you can get the right one. you will also need the oil pressure sender. the wiring should already be in the harness for it.
