I've never had a Cruiser with on-board air but I do now and the compressor is squealing a little. I am told it has to be manually oiled. I'm guessing that I need to be pumping some kind of oil (anything in particular) down this tube that is capped off with a screw. All ye hard core on-board air folks please enlighten me.

Thanks,
Greg

I run compressor oil from O'reily's in mine. it needs to be a non-detergent oil made for a compressor so it won't carbon up.

I run about 1.5" or so in the bottom of the case but 4-8 ounces should have you good to go if it's dry.

You do not need an oiler on a York (what is pictured). It has a wet sump, make sure it's topped up.

It looks like there is a petcock on the compressor that you would open and then fill through the small line until oil ran out the petcock.
