Anyone has any experience on HZJ70/71 and the rear shock springs. I will put rear OME leaf for medium duty (given the fact that I don't drive with heavy loads most of the time). But thinking about the N68 as shocks recommended for this leaf and there are the N75 that is recommended with HD springs. Anyone has tried the Medium Leaf with the N75? any comments, how it drives or how it will drive? Thanks

Hi All:

OME shocks have valving that is compadable with the spring rate of the associated OME springs.

Sure, you can fit a pair of N75 shocks in the rear of your HZJ71 with medium load OME springs instead of the recommended N68 shocks. The N75 will have stiffer valving than the N68, because they are intended for a rig carrying a lot of weight.

With the medium load OME springs the N68 shocks will ride smoother while the N75s will handle better.

Regards,

Alan
