I just recently bought a 2" OME lift (springs/shocks)for my 92 Lj78, but am having some problems with the shocks. There is a coupler nut that attaches the bottom of the shock stud, to a bolt that comes up through a plate attached to the axel. The thing is that the stock shock/nut/bolt are all 10 mm coarse thread, and the new shock (OME) stud is fine thread. The fix should be simple, just purchase 4 coupler nuts and bolts that are 10mm fine thread. But finding a coupler nut (2 1/4" long) in fine thread metric is tough.

I'm not up the river yet, but just wondering what others have done with the same set up?

I can't post a pic cause my computer is being a jerk tonight:mad:

Thanks Joel.

I would be contacting the seller. I would have thought all nuts and bolts included in the deal.

Get ahold of the dealer who sold you the kit, when I got mine for the LJ78(ome 2.5" heavy) after the 3rd time , I got all the right parts together correctly. If something dont seem right ask questions.

Well I got back to the supplier, and the problem wasn't missing parts it was some custom shock lengthing done prior. The previous owner had installed a small lift, and instead of installing longer shocks they used a 2 inch coupling nut and bolt to extend the shocks. It all became clear now, since I had broken 2 shock studs already and apon installing my new shocks found my front shock stud severly bent. Long story short, I just junked the previous setup.
