OME lift Question

I have been trying to find out if OME makes the Dakar leaf springs in a 4" lift for the fj45 troopy (1981). A guy at SOR told me OME didn't make that, but I find that hard to believe with all the troopies in Australia.

The tallest lift they make for the 45 is 2.5. I bought one and installed it on my 1982 HJ47

If you go 4" you will have to get custom springs from a place like Alcan, longer shocks, and work something out for your castor which will be in the negative.

No, I'm running 35 13.50 15s on 8" wheels. Nothing rubs, but if I were to flex the suspension good it would definately hit in the back.

Thanks Bull! I like the troopy...and the 45 and the 80 series in the back/sideground aren't too bad either.

Ya know... funny thing is that w/ the lift for the 45 like the 40's for some reason it has the "driver's side lean".... and even w/ a RHD... it leans to the right ....and that's w/o me in it before anyone asks... ;p
