I'm looking for a needle in a haystack. I have a pretty mint condition 2004 Tundra SR5 4X4 4.7 V8 with 46,000 original miles. I'm the second owner. Bought it locally with only 8k miles in 2018 from the original owner. The original owner was a union plumber who basically drove it on sundays because he had two company trucks to use daily. It was always garaged but it never sat for long periods of time. He drove it weekly and took it on the highway once a month. Oil/filter was changed every 6 months and during his ownership he drove it in the snow once and rain twice. There are more interesting details to his care routine, but those are the important bits.

During my ownership it's been my daily driver, but I have carried the mantle of care best as possible. I only run 91 premium and its never seen a drop of ethanol (truly never). I have it serviced every 3k miles by a local toyota specialist. I have it undercoated with a oil/solvent or lambs fat (lanolin) to repel the salt/brine, so unlike most toyo's in the area this one has a very nice undercarriage. It's pretty much stock. I replaced the original tires at 20k miles with a set of michelin defenders and had linex put in the bed this year.

Here's the needle. I am looking for a 100 series LC or LX. My family is growing and the LC or LX has always been the vehicle for me. I'm aware I can throw this up on BaT or the like at a premium, then buy the LC or LX, but maybe first there is someone out there who would be interested in a trade. I would expect to trade for a 100 series with higher miles than the tundra, and of course depending on the trade there can be cash added in either direction. My one hang up is I'm looking for a vehicle that has received a good amount of care and attention. I do love this tundra, so I'm not looking to offload it for any 100 series. This vehicle is set up to run the distance and I'm interested in a 100 series that can do the same. Maybe this could be interesting to someone so I'm throwing it out there.

Nice truck man! My guess would be very high 20s on BaT if you do go that route.
