Hi everyone,

I'm trying to identify the correct bushings for an old Old Man Emu Nitrocharger suspension installed on my 1996 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 90 (KZJ90).

The shocks are the original yellow Nitrochargers (not Nitrocharger Sport or Plus).

From the markings and old OME catalogues, I believe they are:

  • Front: OME N91S
  • Rear: OME N86

I've been researching the bushings and have found the following:

Rear (N86)

According to old OME catalogues:

  • Upper stem bush: OMEB13
  • Lower eye bush: OMEB15

The rear lower eye on my shock measures approximately:

  • Eye ID: 36 mm
  • Eye width: 30 mm

The original Toyota lower bush (P/N 90385-19007) has:

  • 36 mm outside diameter
  • 19 mm sleeve
  • Two separate rubber bushes (one from each side)

Looking at photos, the Toyota bushes look remarkably similar to an OMEB15 split into two halves.

Has anyone successfully used the OEM Toyota 90385-19007 bushes in an OME N86 rear shock?

Front (N91S)

Old OME catalogues list:

  • Upper kit: SMP415
  • Lower bush: 110-110-122

The dimensions I found for the 110-110-122 are approximately:

  • 14 mm sleeve
  • 31 mm body width
  • 39 mm flange

These are very close to the OEM Toyota lower front bush 90903-89012.

Has anyone compared these side by side?

Also, does anyone know:

  • the dimensions of the SMP415 upper bushes?
  • whether there is an OEM Toyota equivalent for the SMP415 kit?

I'm trying to keep these old Nitrochargers alive rather than replacing them, so any measurements, part numbers or first-hand experience would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
