I dont know if its the holidays or ??? But I have talked to three people who offer bumpers.....Then............they fall off the face of the earth..???

Soooooooo once again I am looking for a GOOD front bumper for my wifes 60, when I bought it, it had aftermarket bumpers on it....may trade if interested, but must be local....bumpers are heavy. They are the tube type on the grey 60 in the pics http://photobucket.com/albums/c352/In2Cruisers/The%20Boys/?sc=1

Oh come on !!!!!!!!!!!!

What..........no one else wants to tease me ?

I didn't mean you.....but thanks for the bump

I have actually had a couple others that have fallen through, or never heard back from:o ...since we talked....If it was up to me I would throw an ARB bumper on it (just down the street) but wife likes the "origional look" soooo its her rig:princess: ..and the search continues..

Thanks for the bump

Bumpers

I have a bumpers in good shape I wold be willing to trade. I will send you pic if I can figure it out. If not I will ask for you e-mail and send. The bumpers are located in Novato, CA. 94949. I may be able to get you in june but may be willing to split the shipping. I would want to trade both front and rear if you would like to trade. Let 'stalk more.
Tks

Have you checked with an aftermarket auto body parts place such as certifit? There is an aftermarket chrome bumper that is almost an exact match, for less than $100, that looks good, but just isn't as thick or heavy as the OEM bumper. I bet some of the local aftermarket auto body parts places up in your area can get one for you. The OEM front bumper is over $400 new from Toyota. While it's high quality, I can't figure out why it's so expensive compared to the rear bumper, which is about $200 new from Toyota.

Ya I put an aftermarket bumper on the 62 in the pictures thats why I cut the winch hole in it (wouldn't do that to a OEM).....after about 6 months it started to rust from just the salt in the air in San Diego. Now the we live ih the Pacific North Wet....I mean West....I would be polishing and waxing it every time the sun came out.....

But thanks....A good OEM is worth waiting for

I may have the one I took off my '60 when I installed the PTO winch. I'll need to check with my friend when I'm in Vancouver, B.C. in February. I'll be driving down I-5 in mid february and we could get it to you then.

Not sure the wife can wait a month....you know women-shopping....

But dont count me out? You can be DAMN sure I wont be ordering one from the dealer........Sorry C-can:) , just aint goin to happen...to many clams:crybaby:

Thanks Chris

If your still looking for a bumper shoot a pm to VTcruiser aka Ghen Fuji you can find him in the Upstate Cruisers Club section a lot. He bought a 60 for parts that our club has ripped through and both the bumpers are up there as of now. No telling how much longer til they go to the dump though. I'm sure he'll give you a good price though.
