Thanks to all for the info, I live in a flat flat flat area so no real need for protection on the sliders just mainly looks. And the wifey wants on on her side to step on. Thanks all

There is an aftermarket cork gasket for the bus tranny pan, I got it at a Toyota dealer.

I have Slee slider with running board. I hate the running board part of it as I hit the back of my leg every time I get out. But I live with short people, so I have to SUFFER.
When the 80 is mine, I can remove the running board part of the slider and NOT SUFFER.
