Canadian Tire appears to have changed the formulation and/or changed suppliers for their house brand diesel oils. The number of different specs the formulation meets increased with that change, which now also includes JASO-DH2. It compares really close to Rotella and says developed with Shell tech on the back. Dyno 15/40 buckets on sale for $49.99 starting Aug 7th. Make sure you get the new formulation if that's important to you, as there were a few buckets of the old floating around at the local store I had noticed last time it went on sale.
