Read through a bunch of oil pressure threads and haven’t found anything that matches my issue. Replaced the oil pressure sender already — no change.
Gauge drops normally when the car is off. On startup it slowly climbs and then stays at the high mark for the entire drive. Unplugged the new oil pressure sender and the gauge still climbs to the high mark.
If it were grounding out, wouldn’t the gauge stay pinned (past the H mark) even with the car off? Starting to think the gauge itself might be bad. Any way to test the gauge vs. wiring to confirm?
