i also bought a later filter casting to solve the issue. my oil pressure sending unit wire is yellow with black stripe which is consistent with the 1976 wiring diagram. its grouped with the wires coming through the fire wall on the drivers side just behind the window washer reservoir bottle. hope that helps.
