Hey everyone! Need to replace my oil pan. Has some pretty bad rust. It's a 1991 1HZ. The original part number is 12101-17030, which covered 1/1990 - 8/1992. The replacement for that is 12101-17100, which is supposed to cover up to 5/1993. So I've been searching online for the part, just to get an estimate of price before I go to my parts guy in Okinawa. The images that return when I search the part number show a hole in one side with 4 threaded bolt holes that appears to be intended to mount something. The problem is, my cruiser doesnt have a corresponding hole. Do I have the right part number? Is there an additional part I'm missing that I need to use to block this hole? Is there some sensor from newer models I need to install and leave disconnected? Thanks in advance for the help!

I believe it's for an oil level sensor.....

Image result for 89491-36080

So if it is the oil sensor, is there an alternative to installing it? Like a blocking plate? I dont have an oil level sensor on the truck. Pressure sensor yes....but its internal.

I have a no sensor pan. I can get you the part number but it will be at the end of the day today. If I forget please PM me.

Here’s the pan I have. The sump looks deeper on this one.

1HZ as far as I can tell. I haven’t used mine yet.

I think that is a 1HDT or 1HZ for an 80 series as they have that double step . Pans from a 1HDT fit on a 1HZ so no problem here you just have to look for the clearance with the front axle.
