Oil flow direction thru oil filter

Does anyone know which direction the oil flows thru the oil filter element?
inside to out or outside to in?

It’s usually outside in although I can’t say for sure with each 150 engine.

Thanks. I'm looking for the gx460 in particular.... I'm thinking inside out only because the bypass feature spring plate is on the inside of the metal tube baseplate and bypasses are usually on the inflow side
