Which bridge? For the Auction St bridge we parked by the apartments behind Ms. Cordelia's and then walked down to the river. There's also a boat ramp by the Coast Guard facility at Auction St. The off road pictures are by Warford and 240.

We went to rescue the abandoned boat today. Cameron took some good pictures and as soon as he gets his interweb working he'll get them up.

Operation bad ass bass-boat rescue

Mission objective: To rescue the abandoned bad ass landlocked bass boat and proceed to use said bad ass boat to pull monster contaminated fish from the lake.

Here is how we found the boat in question, sitting in a small puddle of water at least 100 yards from the lake.

Step 1. Assess the situation while drinking our tall boys that Mark (fjfar80) bought us for being late.

Turns out there's no ramp...

MISSION COMPLETE

Unfortunately, after about ten minutes on the water, the boat proceeded to sink. So we left that bad boy on the bottom to give the fishies a place to hide.

Turns out we didn't need a boat, Mark caught this beauty from the shore...
