The AWD versions like the old tercel and corolla all trac models can actually be made to handle fire roads pretty good just like a modded Subaru. There are a few on expo portal that have a few. I've seen a couple with bags for when that extra inch or two of clearance is needed.

Thanks, Al. They are not out of the question, I just looked at a couple today and decided I wanted to keep looking at all options to include other AWD and other vehicles.

I think someone may have already posted this up, but looks pretty clean. Doesn't say if locked.

1996 Toyota Land Cruiser

Not sure where to start on "engine rebuilt" - could have just been the HG, but could have been a lower tear down, I guess. Any issues I should be cautious of?

Also saw this today - rear locked '99 100 in Charlotte:

Well Here's your chance to own a cool truck. Said I wouldn't get rid of it but sending a kid to college will change things. This '66 Stout is in amazing shape. I got it out of Pheonix about 2 years ago. These don't come available very often on the east coast. Price is $5000

I can already hold 60 gallons, how much fuel do I need? Hahahaha!!

I'm starting to think you wish you had a 550!!

Speaking of which, did you decide on a name?

Wow, WAY too much money for an 80, you could buy one, add lockers, base line and bumper it up for a lot less than that

The half cab cobversions were popular in the NC hills and elsewhere. Seen several half cabs that were all from cut up 40 tops. That one you can see used to be a liftgate hardtop from a 40

And that is a nice 80 there. The sliders a bumper are super slick. Sounds a little high to me as well but that list could be a lil strong too for that price. Guess it depends if you want it done and ready foe the beah next week or you want to makenit your own over time.

Sub 100k 80 ~8k
Add lockers 2k
Baseline 1-2k
Lift 1k
Sliders 1k
New leather 500+
Rear bumper 500+

My guess was David would do some master negotiating and get things down to a reasonable $$$. And being a '95 it's ready for a supercharger. :)
