Dont forget the Toyota bolt you had on there that allowed you to make it up that hill

I almost forgot to mention that . My linkage came loose and I had to use a toyota nut to hold it together again . Now I can say I have jeep frame and tub, chevy motor , ford axles, and a toyota NUT . And I dont mean my brother either . Good stuff had a blast tho . You guys were a fun group to hang and wheel with .

Wow! What an event!

Even though I got there a day later than most, it was just incredible. A huge thanks to Art and the others involved in planning this and making it such an awesome and memorable weekend. The SMORR ranch was really with out an faults at all. Just a perfect venue. Food was great. It was a great time to spend time with club members on the trail, meet new people from other clubs and make friends with some that aren't part of any clubs right now. :D:D:D Really wish I was back there right now.

BTW - a stock 80 took second place behind a 2wd go-cart type buggy in the ball and barrel race. :steer::steer::steer::D:D:D 28 seconds baby!

Art, how/what/where do you want videos and pics of the event? Can't wait to see it all together.... :bounce::bounce2:

That was fun.

I gotta say say thank you not only to Art for doing so much work, Mark Baker and Kurtis Jones for helping me out with the Sippie Cup Challenge, and Brandon for having such a great place to wheel with such great facilities (and as I said before leaving, thanks for the kid's play area too) - Gotta thank all those people, but also the participants.

The participants were great. Lead a few groups, mostly stock trucks on easy trails, and most everyone listened to what I told them to do, which is hard when what will get you through without damage doesn't feel like the right thing to do, and some guy who's got a dented truck who you've known for 5 minnutes is telling you what to do.. And at the end of runs I got a Thank You from most everyone. That means alot to me, and that makes me willing to come and do it again.

Gotta laugh from a sociological standpoint though, cause man, what a diverse crowd, and I didn't meet a single person who wasn't nice to me. The rude or mean person might have been there, but they must have stayed away from me! :)

Sippie Cup Challenge was a big hit with the kids and parents (especially the moms). Happy kids, and happy wives, what more can you ask for right? (well, a bit of good wheeling as bookends to the lug nut hunt wasn't unapreciated either).

Had an awesome time!!!!

the corolla is on hold and the america pickup will be running much better next time!

it was good to meet everyone and I never knew a place like smorr as nice and well kept excisted!!!

By the way... I found someone's Blackberry on the trails... turned it in, at the front office...

Did anyone get their phone back ?

Wow, great coverage guys!

Don't flame me because I am posting for the first time .:flipoff2: I had a great time at the GATOR event . Even tho I had one of the only jeeps at the event every one treated me with respect .

I do want to thank WOODY for helping me get my flat tire changed out on the trail .It was not an easy task and he was actually excited to recover the Jeep . I can't figure out why . :o Oh well it was worth it .

I can't forget to mention that I was the only vehicle to make it up Double Whammy all weekend .You say you want to see some video ? Well I just happen to have it right here  You can fast forward most of my wife yelling at my daughter to get off the trail .

Maybe you should teach the nube not do it for him .:hillbilly:

Nicely done Art and GATOR crew...

As most new events start small and grow, I can see this becoming a major TLCA event.

Congratulations and thanks to everyone who made this event such a success.

I look forward to reading about it in Toyota Trails.

THANK YOU so much for finding my phone! I'm a dork like that--always losing things. I'm really glad someone found it and turned it in! Were you the one who called my mom, btw? She said the person who called was REALLY nice! :)

I had an awesome time at the event. It was really fun and everyone I met there was really nice and fun to talk to. I've been to a few TLCA events before, so I knew to expect really cool people. I want to say thank you to everyone involved in getting it together and especially to everyone who helped provide all the meals. Considering we only paid for 1 meal, it was REALLY awesome that we got 3 great meals provided to us. Thanks a lot for that!

Also thank you, Woody, for letting me drive your 40 up Rocky Road at the night run. I've never driven anything but our (nearly) stock vehicles and it was really fun! Now Lance really has to get the project 4Runner done so I don't have to worry about wrecking the nice one. And maybe I need my own--it's so much more fun to get to drive the whole time! :D

Can't wait to go again next year.

Erin

PS--We missed you and Leif, Doc! :frown: Hope you're all doing well in Utah!

What color was your phone? We found an orangeish one before the raffle and someone called on it when we had it sitting up there.

Glad to hear that you had a good time, and YES you need your own rig to wheel...light the fire under lance to get your 40 done...
