Still raining... Good thing that y'all bought me the snorkel! I might have to actually use it! In all seriousness, Boulder and some Denver suburbs are in trouble with all this flooding. And a lot of trails in the foothills have been wiped out. It's really a mess.

My cousin has been posting pictures of the trout pond he manages in Estes and it is wrecked. I can't imagine there are any fish left in the pond. It looks like they could swim away with the flood.

Working with flood insurance, I've known Boulder was a high risk area for a long time. It sits at the bottom of a valley with reservoirs up above. Sacramento, CA, is even worse. That's going to be a big disaster one day.

There is no doubt it's bad. I had a good understanding of nature's wrath with regards to hurricanes. Last summer, I learned all about fire and its destructive forces. Now, seeing these floods, really makes on feel powerless. The shocking part is just how fast it happened. Nobody really will understand the speed at which all of this happened.

Hey guys... I have a friend who just purchased an FJ60 and wants to convert it to disk brakes.. anyone know someone who would tackle that project or a local shop who would take it on?
