Tony doesn't like them at camp either, just cause they get thrown in fires and dont melt.

Then can we not throw them in the fire?

someone better tell this dude - he's got a cooler full on Post 186 :grinpimp:

just trying to save someone some major headaches...

bk

He's already left.

Most micro-brewed beers or imports are not available in cans.

Most of the people that will be here use trash cans. I am sure the word will be out about glass.

In the past the park owner has allowed CottonLand some liberty because our ride is pretty tard-free. I think that non-Tards that can descreetly and responsibly drink from bottles should be ok. Tards should bring cans, but that is not to say that can beer drinkiers are tards.

I'm out. See yall at the crawl.

Non-tards also know how to make a proper fire that can easily melt a glass bottle:cool:

The bottles at GSMTR melted just fine. The key is to get the fire really really hot.

They only shattered when you took them out of the fire and stuck them in the cold stream.

Hey all you event experts. This will be my first crawl, really my first event ever. Would it be better to arrive at say around 1:00am Friday morning or will we miss much if we save the drive for Fri. morning and get up there around 10am Fri? My brother and I are driving his FJC from the Albany GA area. Going to be leaving the 80 at home for this trip.

Glad you guys are making our event your first. 1am may be hard for setting up your camp site, but with the right lighting, you could pull it off. May want to make sure no one is sleeping before you start driving stakes. Some folks get grouchy when you wake them up. I would shoot for showing up around 7:30-8am. That way you can survey the area and find that perfect spot. You could get unloaded and head out with the rest of the trucks. Set your tent up when you get back.

Either way, we look forward to meeting you.

Pretty sure you won't have to worry about having some glass bottles with you if they arn't shattered everywhere around your campsite.....

Camper is filled up, packed up, hooked up and 4Runner is on trailer! I'll throw the beer on ice in the morning and hopefully be there around lunch or shortly after.

Bill Riiiiiiley, go to bed or CruiserClaus won't come tonight!

the bourbon is loaded with supplies. the truck is on the trailer. all i have to do in the morning is fix a flat on the damned trailer and ice down the beer.
