i've been kind of slowly poking around looking to get some kind of off grid situation going and picked up a bunch of stuff from an ex military prepper.
anyone mind if i post a bunch of photos and questions as to whether to keep it or move it along but also to get general advice?
i've got a reasonably good setup for my motorcycle (did the easter canadian peovinces and tran's labrador highway bunch of years ago which wa aa blast) and have been slowly trying to get my 80 series setup.
if this is OK here can anyone advice me about military water and fuel containers? can i just do a sniff text to decide which water containers to use?
what about the fuel containers? i'm told there is kerosene in some of them.
i picked up a new in box 3000 or 3000i or something honda generator for a song and want to try it out but i guess that thing will use regular gasoline?
same for my camping lights and stoves? i guess if i have dual fuel camping stove and a dual fuel lamp can i use kerosine in them?
just trying to pare down here and figure out what to keep.
