I've got a frp windscreen frame and is somewhat thicker than the metal frames of coarse, is it worth getting oem rubber for a easier fit?
 
Yes. I haven't seem the aftermarket rubber on the 70 series, but the difference with the 80 series is significant. Well worth the extra bacon.
