THe ashtray or the little flip down door on the left of the steering wheel are the options.
 
I don't think I will go deep into my LX regarding a build as I think in 1-2yrs I'll go Tundra and sports car. That said I have looked where I might put switches. I think the sunglass hold or ash tray would be my preferred places. The little flip down on the left is too low, IMO.
 
I'll note again that Toyota's latest factory optional e-locker for the "new" Tacoma appears to be based on the the Eaton/Harrop/TT design. While I still enjoy the old style Toyota mechanical e-locker, as do many others, the move by Toyota to the newer design speaks volumes for quality and durability of the units.

Can you elaborate a bit on this. From what I’ve seen, the only similarities are that they both use electricity. I may be missing something though...
