Hi,
My dad has a 1994 VX limited 1HDT that was imported from Japan. I put some miles on it sorting it out in Maryland before shipping it to the Caribbean. I felt the stock shocks were working great, and could feel them stiffening up in Sport mode. He now says it handles like s*** and is too bouncy. local mechanic is saying replace the shocks. I cant actually put my hand on it now, and the shocks are 30 years old.
Is it possible to get these shocks so the dash switch still functions? He doesn't seem to care, I just thought it was a cool feature that I don't think was available in the USA. Not even on the LX450 from what I can see.
Standard shocks are easy to find. I was told the LX450 shocks were softer, but im assuming these are the standard ones being all that's available OEM today.

Thanks for any info or advise.
