Hey guys,
I have a set of 5 rims for sale. They're stock and in good shape. They take the flat washer style lug nut, which are easy to come by on Amazon etc.
It looks like the PO had painted them in gunmetal grey, which is flacking in a bunch of areas. The pics look like the surface could be in question - but I'll assure you that it's just the paint flaking. There's no curb rash and only a few very minor blemishes over all 5 rims. The metal is in really nice shape.

If I was going to keep them, I would strip them and powdercoat. I got a set of LX450 rims instead, so these ones are for sale.
Rims only. Tires are gone. I'll put on your club page for a couple of days, then move to the classifieds if there's no bites.

I'm in victoria but may be able to deliver at the end of the week when I come over....or meet near Tsawwassen.
Thanks.
Fraser

I would be on that at a lower price as they would have to be restored. I have been wanting these with the flat washer nuts...

Shout me what price you think is fair.
I paid 400 for them plus shipment 8 months ago. Seems within range compared to other forum examples......
Come on! I'll deliver to the mainland!!
;)

http://www.dipmyride.ca/ here in Abbostford does a very nice job on painting alloy rims. It is quite a cool product. I am thinking about maybe getting them to do my 5 spd in mate black. My only concern is if any moisture does get trapped underneath it will do a number on that old Japanese steel compared to paint.

By the time i get these stripped and coated they will likely be over my budget. Don't want to insult you.

I would think dipmyride has it dialed in with the tires ,being he Is a tire guy first and formost. And a good one at that,I've been buying tires off of him for years and I live in north van. And since when have you not been into insulting with a poster? Looking forward to your insult. So these rims are 3 1/4 b/s? His nuts are worth $60 alone.

Lol. George. I am not as much of a hard ass as you. I can buy good used ones from resellers that don't need the sweat equity. I mean I bought the dutchies wheels even though they were wrong because I felt bad that he had carted them all the way from Ladner.

I have known Troy since he worked at Kal Tire here in Abby and later in Langley. He coached my daughter's soccer team for years. Troy is good at whatever he sets his mind to do. Just don't let his business partner get anywhere near a winch.

But yes, you can't beat his prices on used tires. He's got good 17" and up off tire road stock. Lots of singles too. It is all well organized. But the stock is always changing. Her is a Cooper Tire dealer but can bring in pretty much whatever you want.
