I think you are right. Thank you for the help.I think, but might be mistaken, that the steps with holes facing the outside some 15" odd apart are for the '74+ model year FJ40's.
Happy to help. If you have a similar condition one with the bolt holes on the inside at a similar price I will be a buyer.I think you are right. Thank you for the help.

I have a few from very early to early 70's so not picky. Thanks for the heads upWhat year cruiser? 9/67 Toyota added reflectors to the rear frame member and the rear step got smaller.

Thanks Living! Nice collection. Do you know if the beige bumperettes ran through 04/64? I found a light colour (possibly beige but seems more white/grey) hiding under flaking spring green paint on my Australian sourced '64.The 9/67-9/73 will work on the earlier one just have to use a nut because the fixed nut is on outer holes. The early one will not work after 9/67 because the bumperettes are moved further in. Not sure if you can tell how wide the early ones are from this picture? These are some goodies I got off a couple of 1963 FJ40s. I got some factory beige bumperettes off the same cruisers.View attachment 3223780
