Although the shop doesn't offer a red tinted light at this time, I'm confident they could come up with something if there is adequate demand.

Yeah, Red is easy on my eyes.
I have the hella map light with a red lens its awesome.
I have the George's (TaskLED)? dome light and it is plenty bright, but I end up blind every time it's turned off... needless to say I try not use it and end up using the map light 99% of the time.
It would be awesome to have a bright red LED on the dome
BTW that dome light on the side cargo area looks sexy...
I might put one on that location.

Rob is usually at the shop Monday through Friday from 8:00am until 5:30pm (EDT) and is often there Saturday mornings.

No, I have not called the shop.....I'll let ya'll know what they say....
EDIT: Ok, I just got off the phone with Rob and he asked to call him back in a week's time.
Im the first one to ask for RED LED's, so we'll see if he can make them.
He needs to contact his supplier...

Manu's red lens is a cool idea, wonder if you could take it a step further and have a removable red lens. That way if you are camping or just going out to your rig at night to look for something you still have the brightness available. Then when you hit the trail or just driving at night and need to look at a map you've got the red lens on. Just another idea!
hey, interested in details. Guess wondering if this is a complete light kit (meaning whole dome light?). I've got my headliner out and see there is space for two ceiling mounted domes so that's what I'm going to do.
