I'm sure ya'll been missin' my wisdom on here last coupla days.

Got home Sunday afternoon from Clayton to find multiple messages from the Bossman on all my phones. Gotta head East ... quick.

Took time to haul Momma down to the Old Man's Sunday evenin' though for a most wonderful turkey day type meal.

Then ... not-bright-at-all and way-too-early on Monday ... I hauled ass in the Trusty Ol' Comp'ny Truck.

We done established that if'n a Fella heads West outta downtown Elwood for 'bout 1630 miles ... ya hit Pismo Beach.

Now we know that if'n that same Fella heads East 'bout 1640 miles ... ya hit New London, Connecticut. I hit it ... and I'm here.

Some big differences 'tween the two trips this month though ...

This here one didn't have no shiftin' of gears ...

no 14 thousand pound trailer on my ass ...

no huntin' truck stops for fuel ...

no need to run straight thru ...

and no snorin' echoin' thru the cab.

My new Bossman done pimped me out back to my old Bossman who then sent me here to New London to wrap up the job and get all the equipment up to Salem, Mass. where I'll be runnin' a project again.

Coffee breaks over ... time to go back to work.
