Impressive effort to save that Jeep! Lots of stupid that led to it being in that spot to start with, however! 
i want to know who thought that driving on that ridge would be a good idea

What would you expect? It's a Jeep driver.
ya im sure it was "its a jeep it can go anywhere"
. easier removal would have been to just push it off the edge adn let it stop at the bottom
But it had that plastic "trail Rated" badge on it!
and it didnt specify which trail it could handle in their defense
