not satisfied with my OME setup

I have the N73 and N74E shocks. Was that the wrong choice?

80cruiser fan, I thought the same about my OEM medium lift at first. It was stiff as hell. First thing i realized is that my AT tires in the same size as yours were holding 50psi of air. I lowered the air pressure and that helped a ton. Secondly, it settled out after a few months and got even better.

Do you have any weight such as ARB front bumper or steel rear bumper? Reason i ask is i do not have either, but when i load the truck down with either cargo or passengers it rides like a cadillac. So, just this morning i had 4 bags of quickcrete, spare tire, set of sliders and two drive shafts in the rear, the truck road great. I was thinking that i really need to get bumpers to weigh the truck down and make the ride smooth.

So, try it, throw a bunch of weight in the truck and take it for a spin.

if you run OEM shocks with OME heavies in the back, aren't you giving up a lot of the droop?

Yup, but this is just a temporary set up back there. I bought the springs from another board member that went to Slee's 4", we swapped around arms too at the same time, I just didnt have the $$ for shocks at the moment, so I have my OEM in back and his very used OME in front until I decide on shocks. I think I will be ordering the heavy load from Slee this week.

My rubbers are Dunlop Grand Trek - size 275-70-16. Pressure 32 FR, 34 RR last time I checked.
I am considering to buy Cooper Discoverer AT 305s. They seem to be highly recommended for our cruisers. I'm willing to do anything to get rid of that bumpy ride!
thanks!

I think you will find that 24psi will wear fine, and will improve your filling's durability.

Thanks for all the suggestions. My truck is currently in the shop. I will let you know my findings soon.

80cruiser fan,
Does your truck have the factory tow package.
Seems like some love the OME and think it rides nice.
Some are disappointed with the harsh ride after.
I suspect the later group do not have the factory tow package and are not used to having a stiffer ride. I could be wrong.
I would not expect much to change unless you change the springs.
Let me know if you want to sell them.

Cruiserfan,

Well what did you decide to do? Very curious.
