Hey there Mud members, I have a 1996 Toyota Dyna big boy 200 series 4X4 firetruck for sale.

These Dynas are the heavy duty model with 3 ton dually rear axle, solid front axle, 15B-F, 4 valve per cylinder, direct injected, 4.1 liter Diesel engine, 5 speed manual transmission, and crew cab that tilts up for servicing the engine and transmission.

This one has the PTO driven pump unit in the rear and came with all of the hoses from Japan still mounted on the truck. You can use it as a fire-fighting rig, or take the pump housing and pump off and build it out to a really B.A. overlanding/camping rig, or put a bed on it and make it an indestructible work truck. It has push button 4x4 with locking front hubs and a lever to throw it into 4x4 Lo, which is a really low crawling ratio.

If you aren't familiar-the 15B-F is the evolution of the 13B-T and 3B engine series with updates to make it cleaner, more powerful, and more efficient with the same all gear-driven valve train and injection pump that contributes to its legendary durability and reliability. It has increased displacement to 4.1 liters, direct injection, and a 4 valve per cylinder head on it. It is the normally aspirated version of the 15B-FT engine from the Mega Cruisers. You can turbocharge them. These engines are better than the 1HZ in every way in my estimation.

There is enough room in the rear seat area to build it out as a sleeping area, or store gear in there. It currently has a roof rack on it as well, with the factory side ladders mounted on the cab. It also appears to have a DC-AC converter, because it has an AC receptacle plug and came with a cord to plug into the receptacle that was stored inside the zip open headliner in the cab.

It comes with all the manuals and operation instructions. Has an auxiliary oil temp gauge as well as the PTO control lever, outside throttle control, and a battery cutoff switch in the cab. Has 2 brand new batteries, and has just been serviced.

I bought it direct from Japan with just 8,500 kms on it and have put 5,000 kms on it since last summer. It's been a great rig and I'd keep it but I am buying a house. It currently has about 13,600 kilometers on the odometer. Has zero rust. the frame and enigne/transmission look brand new. THere is some wear and tear on the inside and outside, but overall in excellent shape.

Asking price: $28,000
