NOOB question. How to tighten 1HDT alternator belt

Sorry to necro post on this thread but…..
last month I replaced the timing belt and water pump on my 1HD-T equipped HDJ81. I decided to replace the alternator belts at the same time as I was already in there and didn’t know the age of the belts that I was replacing. Fast forward to last weekend…..after a cold start and initial acceleration, there was a slight squealing to be heard that lasted 5-7 seconds then stopped. Wasn’t heard again except for the cold start and initial acceleration. I checked the belts and both had much more displacement (movement) than when I had first replaced them last month. I went to tighten them and rushed through the proceedure, forgetting to loosen the lock bolt and the pivot bolt. Yep, the adjustment bolt snapped 😫. Seems like the lock bolt is holding everything together but not taking any chances. I ordered 2 new adjustment bolts and a new adjustment block. I can’t find the lock bolt anywhere and the guy on the phone at the dealership I ordered through said it’s been discontinued.
Any ideas for a replacement locking bolt? It’s the bolt that locks the adjusting block that holds the adjustment bolt. I will keep looking.

It's a standard part, so will be multi use, used in many vehicles.

This thread is years old, but if anyone familiar can provide advice it would be truly appreciated.

I had squealing belts so took to this same repair - not having read the full thread and with limited access and lighting, took to the adjustment bolt like the poster above, shearing it off. The clamp bolt is still in place and shows no signs of noticing any change.

A) Is the loss of the adjustment bolt a hazard (I.e. park the truck until fixed), and

B) if I remove the clamp bolt, is the block it screws to removable to take to the bench and drill out the adjustment bolt? If yes, will its removal leave the alternator dangling and requiring secondary support?

Thank you all so much!

You could potentially lose tension on belts, and lose belts. If belts come off, you lose water pump and alternator function.

If you're certain the clamp bolt is tight, you might be good.

Just order up all the bolts, adjustment block etc. All in less than $20 in parts. I think all the numbers are in this thread.
Not worth trying to re-drill or tap anything.
