Water buffalo and oxen are the true old school 4x4. Put a team of 4 together and you will pull anything anywhere. The best part is if they break down and leave you stranded, you can shoot them and eat them.

These aint water buffalo. WB are much stronguer and thicker. 1 WB would have worked better

In indonesia, there is a small town called tauraga, were peapoles kill water buffalo to reach heavens. A WB cost between 10k and 40k depending on the color-rare. I saw a funeral were they killed 80 of them...
these guys are generally pretty poor, but still will still kill 3-4 buffalo average for 1 dead...
