I have had my alternator bearings and brushes replaced in my KZJ70.

Before the weekend i had charging at 13,6V and only when I revved over 3000/min voltmeter showed 16V and all the dash lights went on. When the engine slowed down the lights went off and the voltage down to 13,6V again. Looked like the voltage regulator malfunction.

Last weekend I had some off-roading in the mud and had to revv me out of there at full throttle. At certain moment the light went on and stayed that way. The voltage started to show about 12V and getting lower. I lost charging but kept driving for the rest of the day - especially to get me out of there ;)
The next day the dash lights have gone completely out and there is no charging. I have recharged the battery and came back home 400km an battery only. Thanks to Optima!
Any idea what could went wrong besides the voltage regulator?

Check grounding, alternator-engine / engine-chassis /engine-body. Also check the connections on the battery poles or they are clean (between pole and clamp) and tight.

Thanks for suggestions :)
the electricity is restored - it has turned out that one of the internal wires in the rotor has broken (possibly during the bearing replacement) and finally lost contact only some time after alternator was rebiult. Soldering, gluing and it it operational again.
I see now 14,1V in my installation and no unnecessary dash-lights on so the charging is there :)
