So Gumby, was that you 'borrowing' the Naperville North short bus to drive to Ann Arbor for the MSU-UofM game?

In case you didn't figure it out, that was my son and I in the red Eclipse convertible passing you on I-355 on Friday night. It was a great game and it was nice to get to see my daughter, too. The only real downside to the weekend was that the traffic on I-94 from Kalamazoo to Jackson sucked so bad.

No. I was replacing the clutches in my Dad's F-150 diff. on Sat and watched the game on my new TV.

I'm pretty sure NNHS would not let me borrow their bus either.

Hmm..

Looked just like one of their snall white buses that they use for smaller athletic teams. Except all the signage was plastered over with Michigan logos, etc. including the rear top 'school bus' sign covered by one that said 'Ohio State Still Sucks!'

Someone in the area who is a Michigan fan/alumnus either owns a very similar bus or there is a company locally that has one for rent. I saw the same bus in Ann Arbor the morning of the game driving up Ann Arbor-Saline toward the stadium. Probably headed to the golf course to tailgate.

Anyhow, great game. About time Mark D lost to the Wolverines.

.....That's all I heard.

What can I say, it's a fun car to drive in warm weather with the top down. And with front wheel drive and ABS, it's pretty good in the winter, too. Just because every parent of a high school/college age girl thought about/decided to buy one for their little baby doesn't lessen that.

I remember all the easy chicks in high school and college drove eclipse convertables....

For me it would of been the chicks driving screaming eagle firebirds and 1st and 2nd gen camaros. Sluts were much cooler in the 70's.

There definitely were plenty of young ladies who drove 2nd gen Camaros and Firebirds when I was in HS, too. College is kind of hard to know since many students didnt actually bring a car up to Da Houghton, Eh. I can certainly imagine they had a Berlinetta waiting for them at mom and dad's house in the Detroit suburbs, though.

Stop yelling.

LOLZ!
