Hey all just joined the site!! i'll be getting my fj40 this week and i have a lot of plans.
Funny thing is that the fj i'm buying is the same one i built years ago and sold like a retard cuz i needed money.I had originally bought 2 fj's - built one up and keep the other as a future project at the body shop i worked at...well after i quit working there they decided to scrap my other cruiser after i sold the running one!!!.It was then that i realized that i had screwed up bad by selling the one i had and thought i would never have another again.
By complete chance i was looking through my local online classifieds and saw a description of an fj that sounded great - so i opened up the page and voila!! my old truck for sale again!!Needless to say i was exited and immediately called and just went today to make a deposit,i will be picking it up later this week

Not only am i paying less than i sold it for but the guy put on a $3500 aqualu aluminum tub and rear gate,also comes with a winch that just needs a motor and 2 new front tires.I'm so exited right now its ridiculous. Anywho i am planning spring over with shackle reversal and lower gears to make use of the 35's.Before i sold it i had already done a saginaw conversion and put disc brakes on it,so that is just another bonus .Anyway heres the pics of it as it is now.
