Hello all,

I'm looking to make a purchase on a new FJCruiser in the next year and I'm wondering what a reasonable price range you guys feel is fair to offer a dealer?

Here's what I'm wanting: 6 speed manual, locking rear diff, the basic black steel wheels, inclinometer gauge cluster, no factory roof rack, no cover on spare tire.

Thanks in advance...I'll post more when I think of it.

I'd advise you to go to Toyota.com and click on the "build your own". Build it with the options of your choice after you put in your zip code, it will then show you whats available in your area.

From there, its about how bad you want it and what you are willing to go through to get it cheaper. Some regions report getting them below MSRP, 500-1000 over invoice. Then, other regions, people are paying sticker.

I'd get in touch with your local dealer's "internet" sales manager and go from there. If it were me, I'd look for a used one, there are many out there going for 7-10k below new prices.

Good luck...

I know the 6 speed manuals are in higher demand so I'm not sure what the bargaining power is for those but I paid 300 dollars over invoice a couple of weeks ago, but I have an automatic basically loaded. Jerry is right, go on toyota's website and build one first and take it from there. Steve
