Hi Folks,

I am troubleshooting a suspected bearing failure that is audible during cold starts. To isolate the source, I plan to run the engine momentarily without the supercharger belt. Are there any operational risks or electronic faults I should be aware of before proceeding?

You can remove all belts for testing for a very short time. There is no restriction on removing the SC belt. I've run for days/miles without issue.
