Newbie Intro from Canada - 80 Series

Hello All, Long time listener first time caller.

Just received my 80 series this week, my first vehicle of its kind. Very very excited to start working on it. I ordered as an import for Japan and went with a 1996 gas model.

Turbo Diesel was very tempting but I could not be bothered to track down parts when the time came. I can get everything I need for the most part here in NA.

Only real question I have is if anyone has any good cargo area build outs for dogs. I am trying to decide what kind of barrier I want to go with as well as storage system if any. Maybe put a crate in or some kind of middle split barrier. I have a working Golden Retriever Puppy and have ZERO intention of letting him on the lovely leather covers that this cruiser came with.

Lose the Leather . . . take the Puppy.

In all seriousness I have two cattle dogs. They are trained to stay in the back. I recommend a little work with your puppy over cluttering up your LC with cages. And, I have canvas seat covers everywhere anyway.
